Bridal Portrait Session Cincinnati Ohio

Bridal Portrait Session Cincinnati Ohio

I visited North College Hill last week for a beautiful bridal portrait session with Janie. We had Laurel Court to basically ourselves for this gorgeous shoot.

What is a bridal portrait session?

Bridal portrait sessions are held a few months in advance of a wedding, where the bride can be captured beautifully in her dress without all the stresses and worries encountered on her big day. It includes a couple of outfit changes such as the full bridal with hair and makeup, and possibly a pre-wedding look, or bridal boudoir as a gift to her spouse after the wedding.

Both the bride and the photographer can get creative with the imagery that she'd like to capture, and there is time to enjoy the creative process.

For Janie's session, I chose black and white edits to emulate old-Hollywoodesque appeal. It neutralized the traditional wallpaper and green carpet to give her a timeless, classic look for her wedding portfolio.

How is bridal portrait photography different than wedding photography?

Bridal portrait imagery leans toward a more artistic side of photography (less posed) and is a great way to incorporate a dream location into a wedding package. The cost of rental is added to the package pricing, as well as hair and makeup. It includes 30 images with full gallery buy-out options available.
