Mini sessions have become one of my favorite forms of photography serving local Cincinnati families. Mini sessions offer a fun and affordable way to capture beautiful images of your family throughout the year.
Here is a highlight reel of my "Simply Christmas" mini session held in at an indoor studio in Lebanon, Ohio. As you can see, we had some fun!
What is a mini session?
Mini sessions are 15-20 minute photo sessions and often themed around a holiday or a season. The dates, times and locations are set by the photographer, clients book a specific time slot on that day. The condensed sessions allow a photographer to deliver a smaller photo package (around 5 hi-res images). This means less editing time and photographers can provide high-quality images with a faster turnaround.
How are mini sessions priced?
The price point varies based on a number of factors: the photographer's experience, the quantity of images that are included in the package, and how elaborate the staged set may be. Photographers may also pay the studio or location owners a set fee for using their property. If you see more images in the gallery beyond the 5 that are included in the session price, those are also available for purchase inside of the gallery.
What's included in a mini session gallery?
A mini session typically includes a smaller amount of hi-res downloads than a full family photography session. I deliver an online gallery that allows clients to download the minimum promised in the package (example, 5 hi-res downloads). Typically I deliver around 10 images, sometimes more. Those additional images would be available for purchase right inside of your own gallery.
What dates are you hosting mini sessions?
When you "mini sessions near me" on Google, you will be directed to my mini sessions and local events calendar that shares any upcoming events. I will be striving to host at least one mini session each month with simple, timeless themes. You can always find me on Facebook and Instagram where I also share my calendar.
Thank you to all of the families who came out for "Simply Christmas". I can't wait to share more mini-session fun here on the blog soon!
